Belarusian Woman Seeks Compensation From Wildberries

Her merchandise burned down in a warehouse in Elektrostal.

The owner of the Belarusian store Pando4ka.by said that she had shipped a new batch of goods to Wildberries about two and a half weeks before the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ drone attack on the logistics center in Elektrostal.

“My business went up in smoke today. I’ve been struggling to make it on this platform for two years, and now my listings are simply being deactivated if the products aren’t in stock,” she wrote on Threads.
She did not publicly specify exactly how much inventory was in the warehouse or what losses the business owner incurred. However, for the business, the losses aren’t limited to the cost of the burned shipment.

The fact is that if there’s no product in stock, the listing stops generating sales and gradually drops in Wildberries’ search results. Because of this, the seller risks losing not only the products themselves but also the results of two years of work—reviews, brand recognition, search rankings, and customer traffic.

Pando4ka.by is now urging customers to place orders directly, with delivery via “Belpost” and “Europost.”
“Wildberries grew into a billion-dollar business precisely because of us, ordinary sellers. I demand that people be compensated for their losses,” the entrepreneur stated.
As a reminder, on the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones struck the Wildberries warehouse and distribution center in Elektrostal, near Moscow.
