A military engineer and candidate of sciences who worked at a plant manufacturing engines for the Russian Federation’s strategic aviation was eliminated in Samara, Russia. The operation was carried out by the volunteer unit “Budanov’s Detachments.” A corresponding report was published on his Telegram channel by journalist and blogger Sergey Ivanov.
The individual in question is Andrey Tisarev—head of the design department for thermophysics and gas dynamics of aircraft engines at the Design Bureau of PJSC “ODK Kuznetsov.” According to Ivanov, he was killed on the evening of July 15 on Lukacheva Street in Samara.
Tisarev held a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree and was the author of patents in the field of aircraft engine design. According to Ivanov, the engineer’s designs were used in Russia’s strategic aviation.
“He contributed to Russian missile strikes against the civilian population of Ukraine using Russian strategic missile carriers and bombers,” Ivanov wrote.
The “ODK Kuznetsov” enterprise, where the engineer worked, manufactures and maintains power plants for the Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 aircraft. The plant also works with engines for Mi-26 heavy transport helicopters.
Ivanov reported that the “Budanov Detachments,” a volunteer unit that had not previously been publicly disclosed, was involved in the operation.
