HIMARS Destroyed A Russian "Buk" Worth $5 Million

A video showing the destruction of an expensive enemy air defense system has appeared online.

According to “Censor.NET”, Ukrainian soldiers from the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade destroyed an enemy launcher/loading unit (PLU) of the “Buk” air defense missile system using a “HIMARS” multiple launch rocket system.

The value of this “lucrative” target is estimated at approximately 5 million U.S. dollars.

The Russian launch-and-charge unit was successfully detected and turned into a spectacular fireworks display thanks to coordinated cooperation with related units of the Third Army Corps.

The Ukrainian military detected and turned a “Buk” air defense system launcher and loader, worth $5 million, into a fireworks display. Footage of the destruction has been released.
