Images Of A Destroyed Russian Tu-95 Strategic Bomber Have Appeared Online

A satellite image has appeared online, purportedly showing a Russian Tu-95MS aircraft, destroyed on the night of July 16 at the Engels-2 airfield in the Saratov Region of the Russian Federation.

The photo was published on Sunday, July 19, by the AviVector website.

The caption notes that the photo shows the aftermath of the strike on the Engels airfield and the destroyed Tu-95MS missile-carrying bomber.

On July 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had destroyed a Tu-95 military aircraft in the Russian city of Engels, which had been used for Russian missile strikes against Ukraine.
