Reuters: The U.S. Is Investigating Russia's Role In Iran's Attacks On CIA Facilities

U.S. intelligence is investigating Russia’s possible involvement in Iranian drone strikes on CIA facilities in the Middle East, according to Reuters reports, citing four sources familiar with the investigation.

According to them, U.S. intelligence agencies are determining whether Moscow could have provided Tehran with targeting data or technology that improved the accuracy of the strikes.

“U.S. intelligence officials have not yet reached any final conclusions about Russia’s possible involvement in the attacks on CIA facilities,” the agency’s sources said.

The White House referred Reuters’ inquiry to the CIA, which declined to comment. Iran’s mission to the UN and Saudi Arabian authorities also did not respond to the agency’s inquiries.
