SBU Drones Penetrated Deep Into Russia

The occupiers' oil refineries and airfields came under attack.

On the night of July 24, Ukraine’s Security Service launched a new series of long-range strikes against Russia’s fuel and military infrastructure. Oil refineries, an oil pumping station, and a long-range radar station on Russian territory and in the temporarily occupied Crimea were struck. This was reported by the SBU.

“These special operations are being carried out in accordance with the objectives set by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the most distant target last night was the “Subhankulovo” linear production control station in the Republic of Bashkortostan—the facility was located 1,350 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. As a result of the strike, a tank farm at the station caught fire.

SBU drones also struck the “Novospassky” mini-refinery in the Ulyanovsk region, located 900 kilometers from the border. A fire broke out in the tank farm there.

Another target—the “1st Plant” mini-refinery—was struck in the Kaluga Region of the Russian Federation. No details have yet been provided regarding the extent of the damage at this facility.

A separate wave of strikes targeted the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. There, the “Nebo-U” long-range radar station, located at the Belbek military airfield, was destroyed.

At the “Saki” military airfield, SBU drones struck a fuel and lubricants storage tank.

“The SBU continues to refine its long-range special operations. In a single night, the Service’s drones simultaneously struck multiple regions, various types of targets, and locations deep within Russian territory. This approach significantly hampers the enemy’s ability to respond and forces it to spread its air defense forces and resources thin,” the agency emphasized.
