A Minibus Carrying Belarusians Was Involved In An Accident In Batumi

A minibus carrying a tour group was involved in an accident in the Georgian city of Batumi; two people were killed, according to The Ajara Times. The tourists were from Belarus, according to primetime.ge.

The accident occurred early in the morning on July 25 at the intersection of Gorgiladze and Vazha-Pshavela streets in Batumi. Two people were killed.

According to reports, as a result of the collision between a minibus and a passenger car, the minibus overturned, and the passenger car crashed into the wall of the Batumi University of Arts building.

The minibus was carrying a tour group—citizens of Belarus. It is reported that both of the deceased were foreigners. Apparently, they were citizens of our country. However, no more precise information is available at this time.

Seven people were injured and taken to various hospitals in Batumi.

According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so severe that passengers were thrown from the minibus, Batumelebi reports.
