Fedorova Was Invited To Serve As An Advisor In One Of The NATO Countries

The offer came just one day after he was dismissed from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov received an offer to serve as an advisor to the Italian Minister of Defense following his resignation.
This was reported by Reuters.
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crozetto stated that he called Fedorov by phone the very next day after his dismissal.
“I called him the day after his dismissal and asked, ‘When would you like to come to Rome and work with me as an adviser?’” the Italian minister said.
He added that Fedorov was “touched” by this offer and viewed it as a “sign of respect and friendship.”
Crosetto also praised the former Ukrainian minister’s contribution to the development of military technology.
“He is one of those who completely rewrote the rules of the game on the battlefield,” emphasized the head of the Italian Ministry of Defense.
According to the minister, Fedorov helped Ukraine first to repel the Russian invasion and then to change the course of the hostilities through the introduction of new technologies and the development of unmanned systems.
What positions were offered to Fedorov
As a reminder, after his resignation, Mikhail Fedorov reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had offered him the position of presidential advisor. However, the former defense minister declined.
Subsequently, Zelenskyy stated that he had also offered Fedorov the position of Deputy Prime Minister for Military Innovation.
However, Fedorov declined this offer as well.
He emphasized that he would not accept any other government position other than the one he had previously held.
