"He found himself in a difficult financial situation."
The Uzbek Embassy in Minsk helped a Uzbek citizen who was unable to find employment in Belarus return to his homeland, noted “Pozirk”.
According to the “Dunyö” news agency, the man arrived in Belarus in July in search of work. He said that after arriving in Minsk, the person who had promised him a job stopped responding to his messages. After unsuccessful attempts to contact his potential employer, the Uzbek citizen “was left without a means of support and found himself in a dire financial situation.”
Staff at the diplomatic mission “promptly accepted the necessary statements and documents from the citizen.” In cooperation with the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan and using funds from the Migration Fund, the man was provided with a plane ticket, and on July 24, he flew from Minsk to Tashkent.
As a reminder, on July 22 it was reported that the Uzbek ambassador to Minsk Rakhmatulla Nazarov had been dismissed from his post “due to indifference toward issues of investment and foreign trade.”
