The Ryazan Refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia.
Early in the morning on July 29, a series of explosions rocked the Russian city of Ryazan amid a drone attack. Following the strikes, fires were reported at several locations in the city, according to "Focus".
Drones struck yet another Russian Wildberries warehouse in Ryazan. This was reported by OSINT analysts.
Fires and smoke were observed at the facility following the strikes. Footage of the attack was posted online.

Shortly thereafter, monitoring channels reported that, in addition to Wildberries, drones had also struck a local oil refinery in Ryazan. A fire and heavy smoke were also observed at the facility following the attack.

It is worth noting that the Ryazan Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil refining facilities in Russia, accounting for about 5% of the total volume of oil refined in the Russian Federation. The refinery’s annual capacity is approximately 17 million metric tons of oil. It is also known that petroleum products from this very refinery are supplied to the Kremlin’s military.
Local authorities have confirmed a drone attack on the region. Russian media, citing a statement by the region’s governor Pavel Malkov, report that a fire broke out in Ryazan on the premises of “one of the enterprises” as a result of a drone attack. Malkov also reported that Russian air defenses are attempting to repel a massive drone attack on Ryazan. Local authorities have not yet disclosed any further details.
