The Ukrainian president revealed the truth about the situation on the front lines.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is not losing the war against Russia. According to him, the country’s main goal is to preserve its statehood and independence. “For us, victory means not losing our country and our independence. And from this perspective, we are winning,” Zelenskyy said in an interview with Fox News.

At the same time, the head of state noted that the situation on the battlefield remains difficult, but the strategic initiative, he said, does not currently lie with the occupiers. “When it comes to the actual situation on the battlefield, it’s important that the initiative is not currently in Russia’s hands. We are not losing, and they are not winning,” the president emphasized.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine continues to resist and retains the ability to counter Russian aggression, despite the protracted war of attrition.
