The Polish Foreign Ministry Summoned The Russian Ambassador

Due to the rocket crash near Lublin.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador in connection with the crash of a Russian cruise missile on Polish territory.

He reported this on his page on social media platform X on Friday, July 31.

“Today, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador in connection with the missile that fell on Polish territory yesterday,” the prime minister wrote.

During a massive Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of July 30, a powerful explosion rocked Poland. In the morning, Polish police reported that they had discovered a crater and debris from an unidentified object in the Lublin Voivodeship. They were found in a field between the villages of Tarnava-Kolonia and Tokary.

Later, Tusk reported that a Russian X-101 missile had likely fallen on Polish territory. He stated that, at this time, there is no reason to believe that Poland was a deliberate target of the Russian Federation.
