Zelenskyy's Office Has Asked Ukraine's Prosecutor General To Open A Criminal Case Against Lukashenko

The Belarusian dictator has gone too far.

The Office of the President of Ukraine did indeed send a request to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine regarding the possibility of opening a criminal case against Belarusian dictator Lukashenko.

This information was confirmed in a comment Ukrinform by the head of the Information Policy and Communications Department of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Mariana Gayovska-Kovbasyuk.

“On July 30, 2026, the Office of the Prosecutor General registered a request received from the Office of the President of Ukraine for consideration within the scope of its authority. The request is currently under review. The petitioners will be notified of the results of this review in accordance with the procedure established by law,” noted the press secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to her, the agency has not initiated any criminal cases against Lukashenko at this time.
