Gasoline For Residential Use Has Completely Run Out In Six Regions Of Russia

The fuel crisis in Russia is intensifying.

In six regions of Russia, gasoline for the general public has completely run out amid the fuel crisis, and in many others, people can only fill up in regional capitals.

This was reported by the Telegram channel “We Can Explain”.

A fuel availability map has been launched in Russia amid the gasoline crisis, which arose as a result of successful attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on oil refineries. According to the map, there are no operating gas stations in Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Dagestan, the Magadan Region, or Chukotka.

Meanwhile, in Dagestan, the authorities were among the first to impose strict restrictions—no more than 20 liters of gasoline and 50 liters of diesel per person—to ensure an even distribution of remaining supplies.

In other regions of the Russian Federation, the situation is also critical, with fuel available primarily only in administrative centers:

in Kalmykia, the service shows only one operating station—in Elista;

in the Astrakhan and Kaliningrad regions and in North Ossetia, there are only two gas stations operating per region;

in Tuva, three gas stations are available, two of which are located in the capital, Kyzyl.

At the same time, in the Volgograd Region—which borders the Astrakhan Region—the map shows more than 20 operating gas stations. Despite this, Astrakhan officials deny there is a shortage and attribute the lines to seasonal demand. In the Kaliningrad Region, local authorities are announcing additional fuel shipments and the introduction of temporary restrictions to stabilize the market.

Officials’ vehicles remain operational even in the most affected regions, as they are refueled outside the lines or through separate channels.

Specifically, in Saratov, Rosneft gas stations are dispensing fuel exclusively to emergency vehicles, representatives of district administrations, Multifunctional Centers (MFCs), and Russian Post. Similar rules giving priority to government vehicles and officials’ cars are in effect in Volgograd and Krasnodar.
