News that was unwelcome to the Kremlin was reported on Solovyov’s show.
Russians are fed up with the so-called “special military operation.” Above all, Russians now want an end to the war and a return to peaceful life without sanctions. This was stated by Kremlin political analyst and propagandist Andrei Klintsevich on the “Solovyov Live” program, according to Dialog.UA.
“You know, the most common question I’m always asked is: ‘When will this (the war—ed.) end?’” For businesspeople and ordinary workers, this is the main question… There’s an illusion that there’s some kind of war out there on the front lines that doesn’t reach us here, and that it should end soon, opening up many opportunities that were previously closed off… This includes everyday life, travel, maps, and so on,” Klintsevich said.
He noted that the call for peace arose when the war began to affect ordinary Russians. “I’d like to respond to a wider audience: this is going to last a long time! The fact that our infrastructure is being targeted right now is a sign that the war has reached us—ordinary people who aren’t on the front lines. This is precisely the enemy’s objective—to destroy social unity, sever ties, and undermine the social contract that underpins trust in the military-political leadership. “All the efforts of Ukraine and its military rear—the United Kingdom and the EU—are currently focused on this,” the propagandist added. In effect, he acknowledged that the Kremlin has no intention of ending the war.
