Intelligence Has Uncovered The Kremlin's Secret Mobilization Plans

The go-ahead has been given to recruit women from prisons.

Russian authorities have given the "green light" to mobilize or enlist Russian women currently serving prison sentences.

This is according to Ukrainian intelligence reports on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

“The Russian leadership has approved the expansion of mobilization and/or conscription processes to include certain numerically significant categories of women serving sentences in prisons and camps,” intelligence agencies reported.

It is noted that the aggressor country is working out plans for an additional wave of mobilization in 2026–2027. It expects to recruit 300,000 people into the army this year and another 300,000 next year.

The categories of convicts whom the Russians plan to enlist in military service now include individuals with unexpunged or unspent criminal convictions under 11 articles of the Russian Criminal Code.

Specifically, this includes the smuggling of toxic, radioactive, and explosive substances, weapons, and drugs; banditry; organizing or participating in a criminal group; organizing illegal migration; violations of security requirements at facilities of the fuel and energy complex, as well as the illegal handling, theft, or extortion of nuclear materials or radioactive substances.
