An Unidentified Drone Was Spotted In The Sky During The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Strike On The Saratov Oil Refinery

It looks like an American bomber.

A video has been circulating on social media showing an unidentified Ukrainian kamikaze drone, recorded during an attack on the Saratov region. The drone attracted attention due to its unusual silhouette, which is noticeably different from the models most frequently spotted over Russian regions in the past, writes "Dialog".

Judging by the image, this may be a craft with an integrated "flying wing" aerodynamic configuration — instead of a classic drone aircraft with an elongated fuselage and tail section, the footage shows a flatter design characteristic of a “flying wing” configuration.

In the comments, users are drawing parallels between the silhouette of the drone, as seen from the ground, and the outline of the American Lockheed F-117A fighter-bomber. However, experts emphasize that a single blurry image does not allow for a reliable determination of the specific model of the aircraft, its dimensions, engine type, or other technical parameters.

According to commentators, in this case, the very fact that such an object was present in the skies over Saratov is more significant than its precise identification. The region is located a considerable distance from the Ukrainian border, which means this is once again a long-range drone capable of traveling hundreds of kilometers and posing a threat to targets deep within Russian territory.
