Lukashenko Ordered The Development Of A Universal Countermeasure Against All UAVs

The system must be developed by an academy that does not yet exist.

Alexander Lukashenko stated that he is considering the creation of a universal system capable of effectively countering any drones. His remarks were reported by BelTA.

On August 4, Lukashenko held a meeting on the issue of the establishment of the Academy of Intelligent Technologies. According to the dictator, he has high hopes for the new academy and hopes that it will be able to develop a fundamentally new means of combating UAVs.

“I’m thinking about this idea right now. We’re all fretting—we need drones. But what if some smart person in a small country—like Israel or Belarus—were to create a system to counter these drones? Against any drones. That’s it—they’ll stop flying. They’ll crash, explode, and so on,” Lukashenko said.

He noted that the emergence of such technology could radically change the role of drones in modern conflicts, rendering their use ineffective.
