Chaos Broke Out In Belgorod, Russia, Due To A Massive Drone Attack

Fires broke out in the city center and various neighborhoods.

Reports are coming in from Belgorod, Russia, of a series of explosions and a fire. According to local residents, a massive drone attack in the city center, and local air defense systems shot down UAVs over residential buildings.

Belgorod residents also note that damage and fires have been observed in the city following the actions of local air defense forces. Footage from the Russian city was published by the monitoring channel Exilenova+.

“Fires broke out in various parts of the city following the explosions. Air defense personnel shot down UAVs over residential buildings,” the report states.

Later, the publication “Pepel” reported that fires broke out in downtown Belgorod. As of now, fires have been reported on Litvinova Street and Slava Avenue.

Local authorities have not yet commented on the consequences of the drone strikes. An air raid alert due to the UAV threat in the Russian region has been in effect for more than 4 hours.
