Aston Martin Unveiled Its First Road Motorcycle, The AMB 002 Roadster

Aston Martin has unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster—its first motorcycle approved for use on public roads. Brough Superior will produce only 300 of these motorcycles, with the first deliveries scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.

The motorcycle was created by Aston Martin and Brough Superior, which previously collaborated on the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro track models. The new model is the first in this partnership that can be registered, insured, and ridden on public roads.
Each of the 300 motorcycles will be hand-assembled. Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman noted that creating a road motorcycle had been a long-term goal for the company following the release of the two track models.
The AMB 002 Roadster’s design is inspired by Aston Martin cars. The motorcycle’s styling incorporates elements reminiscent of the Vanquish, Valkyrie, and Valhalla models.
The motorcycle is equipped with a new, liquid-cooled, 1,083 cc four-stroke V-twin engine. It produces 130 k.s. and 81 pound-feet of torque.
The AMB 002 Roadster weighs 419 pounds, or about 190 kg. The motorcycle features a 50:50 weight distribution, an 11-pound titanium frame, and Fior front suspension with double wishbones instead of a traditional telescopic fork.
Brough Superior has described the motorcycle as unique in terms of design and handling. Aston Martin positions the AMB 002 Roadster as a model designed for the pleasure of riding on the road, rather than for setting records on the racetrack.
