Housing Rentals In Belarus For Tourists Have Become More Expensive Over The Past Year

Rent accommodations in Belarus for tourists have risen by 4% over the past year—to an average of 180 rubles per day. These statistics are provided by the Russian online accommodation booking service “Sutochno.ru.”

According to the service, in Minsk, accommodations can be rented for an average of 192 Belarusian rubles per day; in Grodno, for 171 rubles; in Nesvizh, for 168 rubles; in Brest—for 164 rubles, in Polotsk—for 155 rubles, in Lida—for 143 rubles, in Mogilev and Vitebsk—for 141 rubles, in Pinsk—for 140 rubles, and in Gomel—for 138 rubles, TASS reports.

According to analysts, rental prices rose the most over the past year in Nesvizh—by 13%. In Polotsk, the increase was 8%; in Grodno and Pinsk, 6%; in Minsk and Gomel, 4%; and in Brest, 3%. In Lida and Mogilev, by contrast, prices fell—by 18% and 2%, respectively.

The average daily rental rate near Naroch is 207 rubles, and near the Braslav Lakes, it is 203 rubles.
