Russian Businesses Have Begun "fleeing" To China En Masse

Russian companies in the Far East have begun considering relocating their operations to China due to high taxes and the cost of loans.

Chinese partners are offering entrepreneurs loans at approximately 3%, lower taxes, and grants for capital expenditures, according to Dialog.UA has learned.

This was reported by the head of “Opora Russia” Alexander Kalinin. According to him, Chinese partners are already actively encouraging Far Eastern companies to register in industrial and technology parks in the PRC.

“Our Chinese counterparts are already enticing Far Eastern companies to re-register in Chinese industrial and technology parks—across the river, so to speak,” Kalinin said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

The interest of Russian businesses in relocating to China was also confirmed by the company “Business Solutions and Technologies” (DRT, formerly Deloitte in Russia). Currently, about 3,800 organizations with Russian participation operate in China.
