Zelenskyy ordered that a "tit-for-tat" response be prepared.
Today, a Russian drone struck the building of the Security Service of Ukraine in downtown Kyiv. The drone hit the office of SBU Director Oleksandr Poklad. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a conversation with Poklad.
“Unfortunately, a Russian drone struck the central building of the SBU on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv, across from St. Sophia Cathedral. All emergency services are on the scene. All those injured will receive the necessary assistance. The drone was aimed directly at the office of the SBU chief in this building,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The president added that he “has tasked Poklad with responding to the Russians in an adequate, tangible, and, if possible, symmetrical manner to this attack once everything is ready.”
“Our military will support this response,” Zelenskyy stated.
