The situation with the Stadler electric trains is particularly challenging.
Documents from the Belarusian Railway (BZhD) and the Ministry of Industry (Minprom) as of July 20, 2026, have been made available on the website of “Belarusian Railway Workers’ Community” obtained documents from the Belarusian Railway (BZhD) and the Ministry of Industry as of July 20, 2026. The list includes 3,310 items of spare parts for rolling stock.
The situation is particularly difficult for Stadler electric trains: 150 out of 155 items are classified as “unavailable for delivery.” For Pesa diesel trains, two items fell into this category, while another 685 were classified as presenting significant difficulties.
The Belarusian Railway is trying to find Belarusian manufacturers of equivalent parts. However, technical documentation is available for only 81 of the 332 most problematic items, so the work is still in the preliminary stage.
