Andrius Kubilius: The Main Cause Of The War In Ukraine Is Putin Himself And His Decisions

The European Commissioner gave the Kremlin a sharp response following talks with the U.S.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is the only real cause of the war against Ukraine. To achieve peace, his rule must be ended.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine reports this, citing a statement by European Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius.

The European Commissioner responded to Putin’s latest statements regarding the need to address the “root causes” of the conflict following his talks with U.S. representatives.

According to Kubilius, the key sources of aggression lie in the actions of the Russian dictator himself.

“The real ‘root causes’ of the war are Putin himself, his decision to occupy Crimea in 2014, and the full-scale invasion in 2022. This is the first time I agree with Putin: the real ‘root causes’ of the war must be eliminated!” the politician emphasized.
