Owners of expensive cottages will be dispossessed?

The expensive cottages owners have to file an income tax return. Uladzislau Tsydzik, chairman of Minsk Region State Control Committee declared it in the interview to Interfax. “I hope that tax inspection in cooperation with law-enforcement agencies will find out a row of questions concerning the owners of comfy cottages. Where from a person has hundreds of thousands dollars? In earlier times the rich dukes were building their castles during the centuries. Now the mansions as luxurious as the famous palaces can be built for one year!”, - the official declared.

“We have demanded 487 tax returns, worked up 90 ones - all find the arguments, gainful part of business, claim that they have borrowed the money. We will check money-lenders as well – from what sources people have such money? Have they earned them working hard or stolen from the state? We had a conference with Internal Affairs Department of Minsk State Executive Committee and Charges and Taxes Inspection on this problem. We will try to prove that the expenses for the realty differ from the incomes declared. Economic Crimes Control Department and Financial Investigation Department will be involved. I think we will know the truth”, - Uladzislau Tsydzik declared.
