Face to face in Silichy

Yesterday evening Alyaksandr Lukashenka met with Russian president Vladimir Putin who had arrived to Belarus on an official two-day visit.
The heads of the states had a tête-à-tête conversation, and the meeting had an unofficial air. It was held on the territory of the skiing complex Silichy.
Today Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin are to held official talks. Together they will lay a wreath to the Victory monument in Minsk and take part in the session of the Supreme State council of the “union state”. Budgets of the years 2007 and 2008 are on the agenda of the Supreme Council, as well as realization of the actions of the Plan of common actions in the sphere of the foreign policy, trade and economic relations of the two countries and other issues. Consideration of the Constitutional Act is possible as well.
