In Azerbaijan Sidorski discussed military and technical cooperation issues

Today President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Belarusian Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski, who is in Baku on a one-day working visit.

During the meeting a wish of the both sides to integrate and deepen cooperation was expressed. Syarhei Sidorski extended greetings of Belarusian President Alyaksandar Lukashenka to the Azerbaijani leader. IA Regnum informs.

Besides, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh met with S. Sidorski as well. Before a meeting of the expanded delegations, the two Prime Ministers met in person. The head of the Azerbaijani government noted that assembling of “Belarus” tractors and other agricultural equipment had started at in Ganja automobile plant. Military and technical cooperation is being expanded as well.

Sidorski confirmed that Belarus is interested in creation of joint ventures in the sphere of agricultural goods processing, manufacturing road building machines and machine manufacturing.

Turkey and Ukraine are traditional partners of Azerbaijan in the sphere of military and technical cooperation. Bbesides, recently military and technical cooperation of Azerbaijan with Russia Israel and the Republic of South Africa has become considerably more intense.
