Pressure on members of Sannikov’s imitative group

A real telephone war has been launched against Larysa Karalenka, a member of the initiative group to nominate Andrei Sannikov a presidential candidate.

Larysa Karalenka is an assistant of the imitative group’s head responsible for delivering signatures to territorial election commissions. Se began to receive strange calls on her phone number she had given to some electoral commissions.

“There were calls from several mobile phones and landline phones mostly in the evening. I also had about 15 calls at night. Nobody talks when I answer calls. When I call back to these numbers nobody answers or they pick up the phone but don’t tell anything. My friends called back to those numbers in the morning. People were excited and mixed up in evidence. They said they had dialed a wrong number, or some of their relatives could phone, or hang up, or apologized,” Larysa Karalenka told the press service of European Belarus civil campaign.

Other members of the initiative group to nominate Andrei Sannikov a presidential candidate receive similar calls, too.

The pressure began from calls from the following numbers: +375 29 263 67 21, +375 29 508 35 63. if the telephone hooliganism goes on, other phone numbers will be published and a complaint to the militia will be filed.
