Officers of court exert pressure on Artsyom Dubski’s family

13

On October 21 officers of the court came to mother of the former political prisoner Artsyom Dubski. They came with an intention to distrain the property belonging to the guy.

Officers of the court made a reference to administrative fines which had not been paid and to the fact that it is impossible to summon the debtor, as he lives in Ukraine. Policemen tried to enter the flat where only the mother and sister of the oppositionist are registered. However Artsyom’s mother denied letting the policemen in, saying that since 2006 Artsyom Dubski is registered and lived in a different place.

It is not the first case of pressure on the family of the young politician. Artsyom’s mother was a foster mother of two underage children, who then were taken away from her and placed to an orphanage, when Artsyom served a sentence on politically motivated charges. Then the mother of the young man was said that while she failed to bring up her own son, she won’t be able to raise the two adopted children.
