Documents seized from NOVAK sociological research laboratory

The media repot that the militia provoked a conflict in the office of Novak sociological research center and began to use force against the company staff.

As “Belorusski Partizan” website writes, the office was searched, militiamen and people in mufti were tried to enter the rooms where the company’s financial documents are kept. The heads of the research laboratory asked to wait for a bookkeeper to carry out seizure in his presence. But the militia didn’t agree to wait and called for a riot militia squad. The office equipment and documents of the well-known sociological laboratory were forcefully seized, the website notes.

NOVAK is the oldest Belarusian sociological laboratory. The laboratory takes part in international sociological projects along with Russia’s biggest sociological institutes. Even the Belarusian state television uses its services.
