Yuriy Shevchuk supports Belarusian prisoners of conscience (Video)

33

Yuri Shevchuk, the leader of DDT, a Russian rock band, signed greeting cards for Belarusian political prisoners.

“There cannot be Lukashenka-type freedom. Freedom exists, or it does not exist. These guys are worth respect. Like many other people here in Russia, I worship them. I wish them courage. I understand how it is hard. But on the other hand, you are not alone, guys,” the rock musician said in his video address. “The authorities, who treat their free citizens in this manner, are cowardly. This is their blunder. This is a huge black hole on their body that will dissolve them.”
