KGB struggles against “petrol smugglers” too

The State Security Committee (KGB) has joined the theatrical struggle against export of petrol.

Belarusian KGB officers have located a self-made oil-products pipeline going through the national border. Fuel from Belarus was pumped through it to one of the Baltic states,” the Information and Public Relations Centre of the KGB has informed today.

Now Belarusian KGB servicemen are trying to find out who had built this pipeline and who had organized illegal pumping of fuel abroad, ITAR-TASS informs.

Besides, KGB men have blocked one more channel of fuel smuggling. Suspects, two locomotive drivers of one of the locomotive depots of Vitsebsk region, have been found as well. According to the KGB, the railwaymen overstated the real fuel consumption rate, and later sold surpluses abroad.
