NTV television crew detained in Minsk

Police detained correspondent Georgy Grivenny, cameraman Konstantin Morozov and soundman Dmitry Davydenko.

Pavel Antonov, NTV news office producer in Minsk, was also detained.

The journalists came to the Ice Palace in Minsk to cover the protest action. After detention they were guarded inside the palace.

“A man in mufti came to us in the sporting palace and said journalists can go,” Antonov told RIA Novosti.

Scores of journalists covering protests were detained in Minsk on Wednesday. Most of them are photographers and cameramen.
