Lukashenka’s speeches remind the jokes of the last years of the Soviet Union existence.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka is sure that supplied with bare essentials, including foodstuffs, people would not destabilize the situation in the country, Interfax-Zapad reports.
“Our fifth column is trying to destabilize our state. They will have no success ever, while our citizens are full-fed and dressed,” A. Lukashenka stated on Wednesday during a working visit to Minks region to consultations on burning issues in the agribusiness industry.
“There will be no destabilizing situation; moreover, Belarusians are not silly people. They remember what happened in Soviet times. They saw what happened 10 years ago, and they see what is happening now,” he noted.
“It’s true, we haven’t done everything. But show me the state which had done everything,” A. Lukashenka said. He added:
“We know how it should be done, and we have said within which term we would do that. We must do that by all means,” the dictator stated.
P.S. Lukashenka’s speeches remind a joke of the 1980ies about a Soviet citizen who came into the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and asked: “Where is “that”? In response to quizzical looks he explained: “We all have been singing the song: Let’s die as one man in our struggle for that. So where is “that”?
