Brazen attack on opposition member in Homel

Opposition activist Kanstantsin Zhukouski was detained in Homel ahead a silent protest rally.

He was walking down Knizhnaya Street close to his home. A car with at least five riot policemen was following him. The car suddenly stopped, riot policemen attacked Zhukouski, shut his mouth with hands and dragged to the car using physical force. The car drove away in unknown direction, BelaPAN reports.

Some cars with riot policemen can be noticed behind the circus, the usual place for public actions.
