Syarhei Kavalenka continues hunger strike

According to her, Kavalenka refuses to take food voluntary. The lawyer of Kavalenka said he learned from to the prison authorities the political prisoner was being force-fed. Kavalenka’s wife tried to pass a parcel on January 25, but it was not accepted, BelaPAN news agency reports.

We remind that Syarhei Kavalenka, a CCP BPF activist, has been in a detention facility in Vitsebsk since December 19. He is accused of violating the probation. The activist was convicted in 2010 for hanging out a national white-red-white flag on city’s Christmas Tree in Vitsebsk.
