Mikalai Statkevich: “I am in information blockade”

Presidential candidate Mikalai Statkevich does not receive registered letters.

Statkevich sent a letter saying he feels fine, go for walks regularly and reads a lot. The inmate of the Mahilyou prison has a new cellmate. Mikalai Statkevich writes he almost does not receive messages and  registered letters are not delivered to him, Radio Svaboda learned from politician's wife Maryna Adamovich.

“His communication with other people stopped a month and a half ago. He does not receive letters. He gets empty envelopes with the letters seized by censors from time to time. He notes these are envelopes of registered letters.  In fact, he has received only a telegram and a postcard for the last few weeks. It's an absolute information blockade.”
