Minsk dwellers reminded about Yury Zakharanka (Photo)

Activists of European Belarus civil campaign reminded residents of the Belarusian capital about the disappeared politician.

Today is the 13th anniversary of disappearance of Yury Zakharanka. Activists of European Belarus civil campaign spread portraits of the kidnapped politician in the centre of Minsk. Portraits appeared on advertising pillars, poles and advertising boards, the website of the campaign informs.

Yury Zakharanka was a minister of internal affairs of Belarus from July 1994 till October 1995. He was abducted on May 7, 1999.
