The last time the care packages were received on December 31.

For the third Thursday in a row, the detention center on Akrestsina Street refuses to accept any care packages except for medicines. The official reason is the coronavirus, reports Euroradio.

Earlier, care packages were received daily in the temporary detention center and the Center for the isolation of offenders. However, since the fall of 2020, only one day a week has been allocated for receiving care packages - Thursday.

The last time the care packages were received on December 31. It turns out that since the beginning of the year, prisoners have been unable to receive either food or warm clothes.

Participants of protests are being held on Akrestsina Street.
