Danilov Responds Harshly To Matviyenko Begging For Negotiations
Oleksiy Danilov

There will be talks, but there is one important point.

Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov has commented on the words of Valentina Matviyenko, head of the Russian State Council, about the negotiations between Ukraine and the aggressor country.

On Thursday, October 6, Danilov invited Matviyenko on his Facebook page to "think not about peace agreements, but about repentance to your betrayed homeland, the Ukrainians you killed and the line of defence in The Hague".

"You are voting with hands that are up to your elbows in Ukrainian blood. Don't be distracted by things that no longer concern you. There will be negotiations, but only with the new Russian authorities. But then you will already be very far away...," he wrote.

On October 6, Valentina Matviyenko said during the G20 summit of heads of parliaments in Indonesia that the aggressor country was "for dialogue" and "repeatedly proposed negotiations", repeating the Kremlin lies about "settling the internal Ukrainian crisis" and "offering" to sit down at the negotiating table "right today".

Verkhovna Rada deputy head Olena Kondratyuk, who heads the Ukrainian delegation, responded by stressing that no one will negotiate with war criminals who voted to annex Ukrainian territories.
