Occupiers Start Fire, Disrupt Evacuation Of Mariupol

The Russian troops are firing at the residential areas of the city.

The Russian side violated the agreements on the "green corridor" from Mariupol and began shelling, the evacuation has been postponed.

"Due to the fact that the Russian side does not adhere to the regime of silence, and continued shelling both Mariupol itself and its environs, for security reasons, the evacuation of the population is postponed.

We ask all residents of Mariupol to disperse and go to the places of shelter. More information about the evacuation will be provided soon. At the moment, negotiations are underway with the Russian Federation to establish a regime of silence and ensure a safe humanitarian corridor.

The police will also inform the residents of the city with the help of loudspeakers,” the Mariupol City Council said.
