‘Avalanche Effect’: Ukrainian Military Told About Response To Attack From Belarus

The entire front of the occupiers will crumble.

Yavhen Dikiy, the ex-commander of the company of the Aidar Battalion, does not rule out that a ground attack from the territory of Belarus will take place. He spoke about this on the air of Radio NV.

“I would not rule out 100% that they are seriously trying to repeat last year. <...> Definitely, it will not happen tomorrow. Even if they can attack us again from Belarus along proven routes, it will not be until the second half of March or even April,” Dikiy believes.

At the same time, the military reassures, if they dare, then the offensive from the territory of Belarus will not be a disaster for Ukraine, but even vice versa:

“It will be the best they can do for us. Yes, we will survive two or three intensive weeks. <...> They will make us nervous a little. But considering that the army is 2.0, this second contingent for the invasion will certainly be worse than the one that came last year, and we will meet, let’s say, differently prepared, then in two or three weeks these troops will be really destroyed."

And then, according to Dikiy, it will cause the avalanche effect:

“Their entire front will crumble, their entire grouping of troops. In short: this is a very optimistic scenario for us. If in April they attack us, then approximately in June-July we end this war with the complete liberation of our territories.”

It will be worse, the military man is convinced that if the Russian army is ordered to ‘dig in’ and not advance anywhere.

“[If the Russians start] just digging into a four or five-line echeloned defence, provoking our offensive, dragging out the process as long as possible, then this is a much more difficult scenario for us than an attempt to culminate in the spring - they will die in this case,” Dikiy added.

As Charter97.org wrote, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that Russia could attack Kyiv from Belarus in February.
