Another Belarusian Dies Defending Freedom Of Ukraine

Belarusian volunteer Pavel Harbach with the call sign “Bort” died in Ukraine, Radio Svaboda reports.
Harbach’s friends on Instagram also report the warrior’s death on their accounts. He last appeared on Telegram this week. The details of the Belarusian man’s death are still unknown.
Pavel Harbach was born on January 10, 1992. It is known that from 2012 to 2015 he worked on a contract in the Belarusian army and was a sergeant major. In Belarus, Harbach was convicted of hazing, and he was sentenced to liberty restriction in a specialized facility.
Pavel Harbach himself, in an interview with the Belsat TV channel, said that he had all the documents in his hands and would like to appeal this verdict.
It is known that Pavel was a fan of the Dynama Minsk football team. In conversations with a Svaboda correspondent, the volunteer said that the GUBOPiK tried to recruit him as a fan even before 2020.
Harbach actively participated in the 2020 protests and was forced to leave the country to avoid prosecution. He worked as a truck driver in Poland.
Pavel went to Ukraine from the very beginning of the war with his friend Dzmitry “Terror” Apanasovich. In March 2022, “Bort” and “Terror” took part in battles in Irpin, Kyiv region. There Apanasovich was mortally wounded.
Subsequently, Pavel “Bort” was the reconnaissance commander in the Terror Battalion. He participated in battles in the south of Ukraine, in the liberation of Kherson.
According to Svaboda, a few months before his death, Pavel Harbach left Terror. Recently he fought in another unit.
This is at least the 36th Belarusian volunteer who has died since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
