The funeral of the Belarusian volunteer Eduard Lobau will take place tomorrow in Warsaw.

The funeral will take place on Friday, February 17, at 15:00 at the Powązki Wojskowe Military Cemetery (Cmentarz Wojskowy na Powązkach).

The cemetery is located on Powązkowska 43/45 Street. You can enter the cemetery from the Powązkowska Street side.

Recall, on February 11, a farewell ceremony was held for Eduard Lobau in Warsaw at St. Alexander's Church.

Belarusian volunteer Eduard Lobau died on January 26 defending Vuhledar. He served in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He participated in the liberation of the Kyiv region and Chornobyl from Russian invaders.

Eduard Lobau is a former political prisoner. He was detained on December 18, 2010, together with the leader of the Young Front, Dzmitry Dashkevich, and then illegally sentenced to four years in a strict regime colony. Eduard completely served his term in the Volchi Nory (Wolf Holes) colony.

Eduard Lobau has been fighting in Ukraine since 2015.

In 2014, the Charter97.org website announced him as a laureate of the Viktar Ivashkevich National Human Rights Award.
