Lavrov Sided Against Trump

The Russian Foreign Minister stated that Russia will not agree to a ceasefire.

Moscow is not considering a temporary ceasefire in order to “bring Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to his senses,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“There will be no ceasefire intended to bring him to his senses again and arm him,” — the minister said at a press conference following the seventh summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku (quoted by TASS).

It should be noted that a few days ago, U.S. President Donald Trump declared an energy truce between Ukraine and Russia, which the Kremlin violated almost immediately.
