Ukrainian Forces Pushed Russians Back Near Kleshchiivka: Maps

This settlement is of great tactical significance.

The Ukrainian troops pushed back the Russian occupiers near the village of Kleshchiivka, in the Bakhmut district. RBC-Ukraine reported with reference to the data of the DeepState interactive map.

According to the map, Ukrainian fighters took control of Hill 233.3 near Kleshchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In addition, the Ukrainian defenders pushed the enemy back in the Novodarivvka area of the Polohy district of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian аorces continue the counteroffensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions.

At the same time, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions.

Yesterday, the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty said that the Ukrainian defenders advanced more than a kilometer in the Bakhmut direction in a day. In particular, the military achieved partial success in the Kleshchiivka area and now they are gaining a foothold on the achieved lines.

The village of Kleshchiivka is of tactical significance because moving even further to the east will actually cut off communication with the occupied Horlivka, which can create certain problems for the occupiers.
