Ammunition issues, a problem with a huge number of people who do not want to serve in the army and either run, or ask for evacuation, or sabotage instructions and orders on the ground. Therefore, here I personally see, I observe that the system may be preparing to backpedal to some extent,” he said.

Osechkin, at the same time, does not undertake to assert that the war in Ukraine will end soon. However, he is sure that Russia cannot continue it in the current format.

“I don’t want to be a super optimist now and say that the war may end tomorrow. But it is obvious that Russia can no longer lead it the way it has been doing for six months. To repeat what happened near Bakhmut ... They don’t have so many people, they don’t have these cruel systems that would drive thousands of people to the front line every day, no ammunition. And they cannot afford to roll back when there are such characters as Girkin, Utkin, Prigozhin in the rear,” he added.
