Former Department Head Of Mahiliou University Accused Of 'Inciting Hatred'

She has worked at the University for almost 20 years.

The former head of the department of one of Mahiliou universities is charged with "incitement of hatred".

According to the Investigative Committee, in March - April 2022, she repeatedly posted on her page in social networks "publications, available for free viewing, aimed at inciting hatred on the grounds of nationality and other social affiliation."

The political prisoner has worked in an educational institution for almost 20 years and has a scientific degree. She has not previously been held criminally liable.

She was charged under part 1 of article 130 of the Criminal Code. She was taken into custody before the trial.
