The new Russian foreign policy was buried in Jeddah.

As we know, Russians and Chinese are brothers forever! But this eternity is turning out to be short.

The negotiations of 42 states, including Ukraine, but without Russia, in Jeddah buried the new Russian foreign policy. It was based on the idea that Russia does not face the West alone, but together with the majority of humanity, with all those who do not belong to the Western golden billion. It was somehow less scary to bully the United States and the European Union behind the backs of giants like China and India. Russian politicians and propagandists repeated it like a mantra:

- We are not pariahs! The West is in decline and the rest of the world is with us.

But all this turned out to be just another myth. Even its BRICS partners have turned their backs on Russia, including China, on whose support they had high hopes. They took part in the Jeddah conference, while Russia was left at the door of their club as a vicious world troublemaker who should not be allowed into decent society.

After Jeddah, it became clear that Russia stood alone and should not rely on anyone's support.

The alarmists expected the West to get tired of the war and start pressuring Ukraine to make concessions to Russia. But the East and the South got tired of the war sooner. Unable to influence Ukraine, which is supported by the West, they begin to put pressure on isolated Russia, which needs them.

The economies of the Third World are highly dependent on the global economy, on the smooth operation of logistical chains of imports and exports, which are being affected by the protracted war (and not just in terms of grain). Developing countries have an interest in preventing the war from becoming global and torpedoing the world economy. This is what China, India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and others at the Jeddah meeting are striving for.

They have already suggested to Putin to make rather cosmetic concessions, such as agreeing to freeze the war along the current front line. This would be extremely beneficial for Russia. But the Kremlin madmen are demanding that "the enemy should crawl to them on his knees and beg for mercy".

In the spring, the Kremlin pushed away the helping hand extended by Turkey and then China, virtually ignoring their "peace initiatives". Ah, so - decided the Chinese, Turks, Saudis and others - since the Kremlin is full of madmen, we will talk in Jeddah without them.

If Russia does not make concessions, which are impossible under Putin, many leading Third World countries will join the Western pressure on Russia.

But as long as Putin is in power, they will not be able to force Russia to make peace. So not only the West, but also the East, especially China, will be interested in his removal. And that threat is much more dangerous.
